Singapore Addendum
Effective [launch date] · Last updated October 3, 2026
This addendum applies to customers billed in Singapore, and to all traffic sent to Singapore numbers by any customer. It adds to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. Where they conflict, this addendum applies.
1. Contracting entity, law and disputes
Customers billed in Singapore contract with Voxvalley Technologies Pte Ltd (UEN 200720211M), 7 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec Tower One, Singapore 038987. The agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre under its rules in force at the time, before a sole arbitrator, seated in Singapore and conducted in English.
2. Goods and Services Tax
Prices exclude GST. GST is charged at the prevailing rate on supplies to customers belonging in Singapore. Supplies to customers belonging outside Singapore are zero-rated where the conditions for zero-rating are met, and you agree to provide the evidence we reasonably need for that.
3. Personal Data Protection Act 2012
- For End-User Data, we act as your data intermediary and process it only to provide the Services on your instructions. You remain responsible for consent, notification and purpose limitation.
- Our Data Protection Officer is [name], [dpo email].
- If a data breach affecting your data is likely to be notifiable, we will tell you without undue delay so you can assess it and, where required, notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and affected individuals within the statutory timeframe.
- Requests from individuals to access or correct their personal data held by us as controller are answered within 30 days.
4. Do Not Call provisions
Before sending marketing messages or making marketing calls to Singapore numbers, you must check them against the Do Not Call Registry unless you hold clear and unambiguous consent in written or other accessible form, and you must act on results only within their validity period. Marketing messages must identify you and give your contact details. Calls must not conceal the calling line identity. You must not use dictionary attacks or address-harvesting software to generate recipient numbers.
5. Spam Control Act
Unsolicited commercial messages sent in bulk must carry the label <ADV> followed by a space at the start of the message, include an unsubscribe facility, and you must stop sending within 10 business days of an unsubscribe request.
6. SMS Sender ID Registry
Alphanumeric sender IDs used for SMS to Singapore numbers must be registered by you with the SMS Sender ID Registry. We submit registered traffic through a participating aggregator. Messages from unregistered sender IDs may be labelled "Likely-SCAM" by operators or blocked, and we may refuse to send them.
7. Singapore numbers and voice services
Singapore numbers and voice services are provided under [IMDA licence type and number] and are subject to IMDA's numbering and licensing conditions. You must complete identity verification before a Singapore number is assigned, and numbers may be withdrawn if IMDA requires.
8. AI agents
When using AI voice or chat agents with people in Singapore, you must follow the PDPC's guidance on personal data in AI systems, tell people when they are interacting with an AI agent, and obtain consent before collecting, using or recording personal data in a conversation.
