Acceptable Use Policy

Effective [launch date] · Last updated October 3, 2026

Carriers and channel providers judge every sender on the platform by the worst traffic they see. This policy keeps routes open for everyone. It applies to all use of the Services and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Consent and opt-out

  • Message or call only people who have given consent appropriate to the type of communication, and keep a record of that consent.
  • Honour opt-out requests (STOP, unsubscribe, verbal requests on calls) promptly and across all channels.
  • Respect national do-not-disturb and do-not-call registries, including India's NCPR preferences and the Singapore DNC Registry.
  • Send promotional traffic only within the hours the law and local rules allow.

2. Prohibited content

  • anything illegal in the sender's or recipient's country
  • phishing, smishing, scams, fake prizes, and impersonation of any person, brand, bank or government body
  • links to malware or to destinations hidden behind public URL shorteners
  • hate speech, harassment, threats, or content inciting violence
  • sexually explicit content, and any content involving minors in a sexual context
  • illegal drugs, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, weapons, and gambling or betting where it is not licensed
  • unlicensed lending, debt relief and investment schemes, and other high-risk financial offers
  • content that violates WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies or Google's RCS policies on those channels

3. Prohibited traffic practices

  • spoofing caller IDs or sender IDs, or sending from unregistered headers and templates
  • rotating numbers or sender IDs to avoid filtering ("snowshoeing")
  • artificially inflated traffic, SIM-box termination, or routing traffic to grey routes
  • automated or pre-recorded calls without the consent the law requires
  • sending traffic for a third party without telling us, outside a reseller or white-label agreement

4. AI voice and chat agents

  • Tell people they are dealing with an AI agent where the law requires it, and never claim an agent is a human when asked.
  • Do not use agents to imitate a real person's voice or identity without that person's written permission.
  • Do not use agents for deceptive, coercive or high-pressure sales or collections practices.
  • Do not use agents to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person without human review.
  • Do not use agents as a substitute for emergency services or for medical diagnosis.
  • Collect only the personal data the conversation needs, and get consent before recording calls where the law requires it.

5. Platform integrity

  • Do not probe, scan or load-test our systems without written permission.
  • Do not get around rate limits, verification or billing controls.
  • Do not share API keys or let others use your account outside your organisation.

6. Enforcement

We monitor traffic patterns and may filter or block individual messages and calls, pause a campaign, suspend an account or terminate it, depending on the severity of the breach. Where possible we will contact you first; for fraud, phishing or a regulator's instruction we act immediately. Fines or penalties imposed on us by operators, channel providers or regulators because of your traffic are charged to your account. We report illegal activity to the authorities where required.

7. Reporting abuse

If you receive spam or fraudulent messages or calls sent through Vox Digitals, report them to [abuse email] with the sender ID or number and the time received. We investigate every report.
